About Stashly
What is Stashly?
A place to keep everything you save online. Save from your browser, your phone and your group chats, sort it into collections, and find it again by searching for what you remember about it.
How is it different from browser bookmarks?
Bookmarks live in one browser and only know a title. Stashly works across your browsers and phone, keeps the picture and description of each save, works out what each save is, finds related saves, and lets you share a collection with a link.
Is there an iOS or Android app?
Yes, both are in beta. Testers are invited from the waitlist.
Does it work in Firefox?
Not yet. The extension is available for Chrome and other Chromium browsers such as Edge, Brave and Arc.
Plans and pricing
Is Stashly free?
Yes. The free plan has no limits on how many links or collections you keep. It shows ads, which help pay for running it.
What does Stashly Plus add?
No ads, in the apps or on your public profile. Your AI assistant can save and organize for you. You get analytics for your profile and collections, and can add your own Meta, TikTok, Pinterest or Google Analytics pixel to them. It costs €7.99 a month or €59.99 a year. Plus is invite only for now. See pricing for the full list.
How do I sign up?
Stashly is opening up gradually. Join the waitlist and we will send you an invite, or sign up with an invite code from someone who already uses it.
Sharing
Who can see my saves?
Only you, unless you decide otherwise. Collections are private by default. You can make one public, share it by link, or invite people to add to it with you.
Can people find my profile on Google?
Only if you allow it. Turn on Show me in search engines in Settings, Privacy and your profile and public collections can appear in Google and other search engines. It is off until you turn it on, and private collections never appear.
Privacy and your data
Where is my data stored?
On servers run by Hetzner in Germany. Stashly is made by Leon Gieser in Berlin and is covered by EU data protection law.
Do you read the pages I save?
Stashly fetches each saved page to get its title, picture and description, to work out what kind of page it is, and to find related saves. AI reads a recipe from a caption or a short video only when you ask it to, or keep automatic recipe reading on. We do not sell your data.
Can I take my data with me?
Yes. Settings, Import & export gives you everything as HTML, JSON or CSV, and can email you the file. The HTML export opens in any browser and can be imported as bookmarks.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings, Account, Delete account and type DELETE to confirm. If you cannot sign in, use the data deletion form and we will delete it within 30 days.
What happens when a website I saved goes offline?
Your save keeps its title, picture and description, so you still know what it was. Stashly does not keep a full copy of the page, so for anything you cannot lose, save a copy with the Internet Archive as well.
