Terms of Service

Last updated: 4 October 2026

1. Who these terms are with

These terms govern your use of Stashly: the website at stash.ly, the browser extension, the iOS and Android apps, the API and the MCP server. Stashly is operated by Leon Gieser, sole proprietor, Galvanistr. 16, 10587 Berlin, Germany ("we", "us"). See the imprint for full provider details. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You need an account to use Stashly, and you must be at least 16 years old to create one. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared.

3. What you may save

Stashly stores links and the metadata fetched from them. You are responsible for the content you save, for the collections you make public, and for holding the rights to anything you publish through a public collection or profile.

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not use Stashly to store or distribute unlawful content.

  • Do not attempt to disrupt the service, circumvent limits, or access other users' data.

  • Do not use automated access beyond the published API and its documented limits.

5. Content you make public

Public collections and profiles are visible to anyone with the address and may be indexed by search engines. You can make them private again at any time, but copies already made by third parties are outside our control.

6. Stashly Plus and payment

Stashly is free to use. Stashly Plus is an optional subscription that adds features, at the prices shown on the pricing page, billed monthly or yearly.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to your purchase alongside these terms.

  • Prices include VAT where it applies. Paddle works out the tax for your location at checkout.

  • A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel it.

  • You can cancel at any time in Settings, under Billing, with "Manage subscription". Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep Plus until the end of the period you have already paid for.

  • Refunds and the statutory right of withdrawal are set out in the refund policy.

  • If we change the price of Plus, we will tell you at least 30 days before the new price applies to your subscription, so you can cancel before then.

  • When a subscription ends, your account returns to the free plan. Nothing you have saved is deleted.

7. Availability

We aim to keep Stashly available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, failures and changes to features can interrupt access. You can export everything you have saved at any time from Settings, under Data.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, and will give notice where it is reasonable to do so. If we end a paid subscription for a reason other than your breach, we refund the unused part of the period you paid for.

9. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the Product Liability Act, and where we have given a guarantee.

For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation, meaning one that makes proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on which you may regularly rely, and then only for the foreseeable damage typical of this kind of contract. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded.

These limits also apply to the personal liability of anyone acting for us.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can delete your account or cancel your subscription before then.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you habitually live.

If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Berlin.
