Saving links in chats with yourself

WhatsApp’s “Message yourself”, Telegram Saved Messages, a note in your own DMs. It works, until it doesn’t. One endless scroll, no tags, no filters, and the link you saved last month is buried a thousand messages deep.
- One long feed
- No tags
- No filters
Stashly gives every link a clean card, tags, and search that actually finds it. And you don’t start from scratch: export that chat and import the whole thing. We keep the links and leave the rest behind.
Ever had this happen?
You saved a YouTube video that changed your mind, or a song you couldn’t stop playing. Two years pass. The channel is gone, the link 404s, the algorithm doesn’t even remember it existed.
This video has been removed by the uploader.
The trick where you brown the butter first - makes the dish forgiving even when you mess up the timing.
The source died.
Your save didn’t.
Stashly snapshots the title, image, description, and your tags the moment you save. Your library outlives the internet it came from.
Saving is the easy part.
Getting it back is the product.
Every read-later app optimizes for the save button. Stashly is built for the moment you need it again.
Every save, enriched.
The moment you save, Stashly pulls in the title, image, and description, and works out what it is: a recipe, an article, a workout. That quiet first pass is what makes everything below possible. AI reads recipes from captions and short videos, with more types coming soon.
Find it months later.
Search by vibe, not by title.
Ask your AI for it.
Your stash plugs into Claude, Grok and ChatGPT natively. Search, pull, and organize in plain language, from inside the tools you already think in. No other library ships this first-class.
Your stash becomes a digital garden.
Embeddings reveal the threads between your saves. Themes emerge without folders, clusters bloom, and saves you forgot existed find their way back to you. The longer you stash, the more your library looks like you.
- Themes emerge without folders
- Spot threads you didn’t know you cared about
- Rediscover saves you forgot existed
In from everywhere.
Even your group chats.
However a link reaches you, there’s a one-tap way into your stash, with no second thought.
Stashly captures links you bookmark on these sites.
- InstagramSave posts you bookmark on Instagram
- TikTokSave posts you bookmark on TikTok
- X / TwitterSave posts you bookmark on X
- YouTubeSave videos and Shorts you save on YouTube
- RedditSave posts you save on Reddit
- LinkedInSave posts you save on LinkedIn
Their save button. Your stash.
Flip on the auto-savers. The next time you tap the native bookmark on Reddit, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, or LinkedIn, Stashly catches it. Same muscle memory, no second click.
- Native button, native feel. Same muscle memory as before, Stashly just listens.
- Per-site toggles. Don’t use X? Leave it off.
- Lands in Quick Save. Triage on your own time, like everything else.
Why save twice?
Save now. Sort later.
One tap on Stashly opens the sheet. From there, Quick Save drops it straight into your queue, or you file it into a collection with tags right there.
Everything you Quick Save waits in one queue until you’re ready. Then triage like a deck of cards: swipe right to keep, left to bin, or up to file into a collection.
One at a time on a slow morning, or batch-file a whole pile at once. Save now, sort later.
Bring what you already saved.
A years-old group chat, the bookmarks bar you never pruned, the posts you saved and forgot. We pull the links .
One click, any page.
Pin the Stashly extension and hit it on any page to capture what you’re looking at. Tag, send, done.
Read what the title actually says.
Coming soon: the articles you save get a second look. Stashly compares the headline against the body and flags the gap, so you stop wasting your time on clickbait.
- Accurate·title matches the body worth your time.
- Misleading·buries or distorts what the article actually says.
- Sensational·pure clickbait. Spoiler: the squirrel survived.
Saves you from “you wouldn’t believe what happened next.”
Built like you’d build it.
The small, opinionated touches that show up once you live in it.
Lock what matters.
A content warning and a password on public collections, independently. Turn on one, both, or neither.
Your library is yours.
Take the whole library out as HTML, JSON or CSV, or just the collections you pick. Have it mailed to you, or keep an Obsidian vault in step with it. No format only we can read.
One bucket.
Many savers.
Stashly’s shape changes with how you use it. Same library, every kind of saver.
“My read-later is read-never. I want a calm place that catches everything and asks nothing of me.”
“I save dozens of links a day. I need keyboard speed, durable structure, and a way to talk to my saves through my agent.”
“I save five recipes a week from TikTok and never see them again.”
“My audience follows my taste. Linktree is flat. I want a public profile that actually shows what I’ve curated, and tells me who clicked.”
One stash. Every surface.
Save from wherever you are, get it back wherever you work.
Everything they do.
Plus the part that comes after saving.
Bookmark managers organize. Read-later apps store. Link-in-bio pages publish. Creator tools generate. Stashly is the union, plus the retrieval piece none of them ship.

Being honest: Raindrop is cheaper. Readwise Reader is the better deep-reading app. Collecta has a post generator we don’t ship yet. If one of those is what matters most to you, use them. Otherwise, come over.
And one more thing we’re honest about: apps in this space die. Pocket shut down and deleted everyone’s library with it. Stashly exports your data anytime, in formats every other tool can read. If we ever disappoint you, you leave with everything.
Stop losing links.
Start stashing.
One library for everything you save online. In from everywhere, out to everywhere you think. Yours forever.
