Quick Save

Last updated: 19 October 2026

Most saving happens at a bad moment: in the middle of reading, on the bus, between two other things. Quick Save is for those moments. A quick save lands in a queue instead of asking where it belongs, and you sort the queue when you have a minute.

What ends up in the queue

  • Pages saved with the extension's quick save shortcut or the Quick save button.

  • Saves from your phone when you choose Quick save in the share sheet.

Sorting the queue

Open Quick Save from the sidebar. One save is shown at a time, with its picture, title and any tags Stashly suggests. Decide what to do with it and the next one comes up.

On a keyboard

  • Right arrow keeps it in your library.

  • Left arrow deletes it.

  • Up arrow opens it to organize: add tags, a note or a collection before keeping it.

  • Space skips it for now.

  • Z undoes the last decision.

On a phone

Swipe: right to keep, left to delete, up to organize, down to skip.

Tips

  • Skipping is not deciding. A skipped save moves to the back of the pile and is still in the queue the next time you open it.

  • Suggested tags are only suggestions. Nothing is applied until you keep the save.

  • A few minutes a day keeps the queue short. A long queue is easier to clear with the keyboard than by tapping.
